Scope of the processing of personal data

Our processing of the personal data of our users is restricted to that data which is required to provide a functional website and our contents and services. The processing of our users’ personal data only occurs for those purposes to which they have agreed, or if another legal basis (within the meaning of GDPR) exists. Personal data will only be collected if it is genuinely necessary for the carrying out and processing of our tasks and services, or if you have voluntarily provided us with it.

Provision of our website

As with every connection with a web server, the server of our web hosting provider, cyon, in Basel, Switzerland, logs and stores specific technical data.

Such data includes:
• the IP address and operating system of your device
• the data of the time of access
• the type of browser
• browser query, including the origin of the query.

This is required for technical reasons so that we can make our website available to you. cyon will protect such data against unauthorized access with the appropriate technical and organizational measures and will not forward it to third parties. Insofar as we process personal data in this respect, we shall do so on the basis of our interest in offering you the best possible user experience and guaranteeing the security and stability of our systems.

Google Analytics

Our website uses “Google Analytics”, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94,043, USA, to evaluate the use of our website. Google Analytics uses cookies (see point 2.), which will be stored on your computer. The information which they contain regarding the visitor’s use of the website and of the internet can be processed and evaluated by Google.

If necessary, the data collected by Google will be transferred by Google to countries which are outside the EU and the EEA, in particular, the USA.
